I provide a variety of presentations and have spoken to both small and large groups of a variety of ages.  I believe speaking engagements should be customized to meet each organization’s needs and will work hard to ensure your event expectations are met.

I’ve spoken at many junior high and high school venues, presenting to both large (auditorium or multi-class assemblies) and small (classroom, reading groups, writing clubs) groups.  My rates are negotiable based on presentation length (I offer half-day and full-day rates) and the variety of presentations provided.  I believe schools should get as much benefit as possible from an author visit so I am both willing and eager to have a full and busy day! My school visit slots often fill months ahead of time, so if you’re interested contact me for more details or for testimonials from other teachers or school librarians.

As a note, I typically do not visit any classes below 6th grade but if you have a special request, I’m happy to consider.

I love library and writing group presentations!  I’ve presented at local chapters of SCBWI and RWA along with many other writing groups, librarian groups and book clubs.  Along with a general writing/publication journey presentation, I offer a variety of presentations on character development, writing thrillers, story structure, pacing, editing, and the art of the synopsis.  These presentations are best suited for teens or adults, and I am always willing and happy to adjust content or depth of material to meet your group’s needs.  Please contact me for more information, or for testimonials.
